Sunday School News

Having God-fearing parents is truly a blessing and God-fearing children are a blessing in return. We thank all parents for supporting their children and encouraging them in their religious instruction.

Credit will be given for attendance toward earning an attendance certificate at the end of the school year. Certificates will be given as follows:

          PERFECT              0 - Times Absent
                     EXCELLENT           1 or 2 Absences
VERY GOOD          3 or 4 Absences
                     GOOD                    5 Absences

To encourage our Sunday School children to read God's Word, the Bible Bookmark Program is offered. This is a daily reading for students in Grades 1 through 6. Each Sunday, the children will receive a bookmark to guide them in studying a weekly topic. Upon completion of the daily readings each week, parents initial the bookmark for return to the child's teacher. An incentive will be given to those children who complete eight out of thirteen weeks each quarter.

Another important aspect of our Sunday School is memorization of  Bible passages, the Ten Commandments, and the Apostles' Creed.  A "St. Paul's Sunday School Handbook" is supplied to each child and this book covers memorization for each grade level.

It is our hope and intent to keep all the children in the Word so that none of Jesus' lambs go astray.

If you are interested in having your child/children join our Sunday School, please call the church office any weekday morning to register...414.355.5030.  Remember, Sunday School begins at 10:15 a.m., following  the 9:00 a.m. Sunday worship service, September through May.
