RUTH GUILD
The mission of the Ruth Guild is to help the women of the congregation grow in their Christian faith and service by offering
:
Interesting Christian speakers, videos on subjects of special interest to women, timely Bible studies and inspiring devotions, opportunities for involvement in church activities such as gatherings to help the poor and needy, Christmas gifts for shut-ins, Easter breakfasts and other special events.
Twice a year, in spring and fall, the meeting is held on a Saturday morning for light exercise workouts.
The Ruth Guild is affiliated with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Highlights of the LWML's South Wisconsin District activities include a fall retreat for women of all ages and a winter young women's retreat, zone rallies with women of other churches in our area, and conventions at the district and national level.
Unless otherwise noted, all St. Paul's Ruth Guild meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m., September through May, in Reichmann Hall. They begin with refreshments, followed by the program at 7:30 p.m.
