ATTENTION artists: Beginners
& Advanced
Did
you know that St. Paul's has an
art club that
meets
every Thursday afternoon,
September through May, in Reichmann Hall,
from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.?
The North Shore Art Club started with a
group of
four artists
that were taking a class at Brown Deer
High School
through MATC. They enjoyed each other's company and decided to
meet every Monday
evening at the Brown Deer Village Hall to paint.
Other
artists joined them later.
The club then
decided
to meet in the daytime
rather
than at night and the Brown Deer Village
Recreation Department
suggested that they meet
at Algonquin School, where the Brown Deer
Seniors met.
When the Brown Deer Seniors moved their meeting
place
to St. Paul's, the art club moved along with them.
Anybody who
enjoys painting may join the group. There are no fees. Everyone brings his/her own paints
and supplies. Beginners as well as experienced artists are welcome.
If you are interested and need more information, please call the church office, 414.355.5030, and someone will contact you . . .
or just come to Reichmann Hall Thursdays
at 1:00 o'clock.
